Haiti at the WeXchange 2019, the largest tech forum dedicated to women STEMpreneur

The seventh edition of the WeXchange forum will be held in Asuncion – Paraguay next week, November 13th-14th. Seven (7) innovative women STEMpreneurs from the Caribbean (Haiti, Barbados, Jamaica, Belize, Trinidad & Tobago) will represent their businesses at the biggest forum connecting them to mentors and investors. Haiti will participate the first time and represented by Daniella Jacques, founder, and CEO of Dofen News.

The IDB Group’s innovation laboratory “IDB Lab” established in 2013 the program WeXchange for women entrepreneurs in Latin America and the Caribbean. The forum is organized in partnership with Koga Impact Laband Angel Ventures.

This year the giant Microsft joins the IDB Lab to support more women entrepreneurs in technology. The selected women entrepreneurs in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) from Latin America and the Caribbean have this dedicated place to discuss their success, their issues, exchange experiences, and best practices. There will be a Pitch Competition that seeks to reward the most dynamic and innovative STEMpreneur in the region.

During these two days, they will have different sessions such as how to get out of start-up a scaleup, how to make your company a regional company, management of a tech startup, and many more.
